Crispina, wife of Commodus (died 183 AD). AE Sestertius, Rome mint, 178-191. Obv. CRISPINA AVGVSTA. Draped bust right, hair waved and rolled at crown and knotted on back of head. Rev. HILARITAS S C. Hilaritas, draped, standing left, holding long palm, nearly vertical, in right hand and cornucopiae in left hand. RIC III Commodus 668. AE. 20.29 g. Ø 29.50 mm. Green patina in various shades. Good VF/VF.
