Mn. Cordius Rufus. AR Denarius, 46 BC. Obv. RVFVS·III·VIR. Jugate heads of the Dioscuri right, wearing pilei decorated with fillet and surmounted by star. Rev. Venus Verticordia standing left, holding scales and sceptre, with Cupid perched on shoulder; behind, MN·CORDIVS (MN ligate). Cr. 463/1b; B. (Cordia) 1; RRSC D254.1b. 3.55 g. 18 mm. Graffito on obverse. Attractive light old cabinet tone. Good VF.
