Head of Athena right, with frontal eye, wearing earring, necklace, and crested Attic helmet decorated with three olive leaves over visor and a spiral palmette on the bowl. Rev. Owl standing right, head facing; olive sprig and crescent to left, AΘE to right; all within incuse square. HGC 4 1597; SNG Cop. 31. AR. 17.06 g. 23.00 mm. An interesting unofficial issue probably minted in a middle east mint. VF.
