Augustus (27 BC - 14 AD) with Agrippa. AE Dupondius (?), Nemausus mint, 20-10 BC. Obv. IMP DIVI F. Heads of Agrippa (left) and Augustus (right) back to back, Agrippa wearing combined rostral crown and laurel wreath and Augustus is bare-headed. Rev. COL NEM. Crocodile chained to palm-shoot with tip right; above on left a wreath with long ties. RIC I (2nd ed.) 154. 15.80 g. 26.60 mm. Scarce. Interesting countermark on obverse. Good F/F. The types commemorate the victory over Mark Antony and Cleopatra and capture of Egypt by Augustus and Agrippa.
