South Italian, c. early 4th century BC.
Black-glazed aryballos with everted lip with molded profile. Short funnel neck, flattened globular body with receding shoulder. Low flat foot, overlapping circular handle. Bundle of two parallel lines engraved on the shoulder. Reddish paint on the bottom.
Dimensions: 105 x 86 mm. Rare and interesting shape. Intact and complete. Minor wear on the lip and minor paint fractures on the body due to baking.
