Roman period, 2nd-3rd century AD.
Attachment of a Roman bronze vase handle with a relief depiction of a seated togate male figure holding a theatre mask in his raised left hand, probably initially resting on the pedestal to the right of the scene.
Dimensions: 84x44 mm. Object of good artistic quality, certainly part of a large vase, given its size and thickness. Cleaned and restored as to bring out the depiction. Lovely reddish patina.
