Commodus (177-192). AE Sestertius, 191 AD. Obv. Head of Commodus, laureate, right. Rev. Commodus, veiled, togate, standing right, sacrificing over tripod with patera in right hand and holding scroll in left hand; before him, victimarius raising axe to strike bull, which an attendant holds by the horns, and flute-player playing double flute.
