Diva Faustina I (after 141 AD). AE As, 141 AD. Obv. Bust of Faustina I, draped, right, hair elaborately waved and coiled in bands across head and drawn up at back and piled in a round coil on top. Rev. Ceres, veiled, draped, standing right, holding long torch, vertical in right hand and two corn-ears downwards, in left. Cf. RIC III (A. Pius) 1169a. 9.24 g. 30.00 mm. An apparently unpublished variant with Ceres right, torch in right hand and corn-ears in left.
