P. Satrienus. AR Denarius, Rome mint, 77 BC. Obv. Helmeted head of Roma right; on the left, control-numeral IIXXXT. Rev. She-wolf left, right forepaw raised; above, ROMA; in exergue, P·SATRIE / NVS. Cr. 388/1; B. 1. 4.20 g. 17.50 mm. An interesting overweight example with a gash across the obverse surface. This practice is an 'adjustment al marco'. (C.
