Roma seated left being crowned by Victory who stands behind her; in exergue, SEX. NONI. Cr. 421/1; B. 1. 3.79 g. 18.00 mm. A very attractive example. Lovely cabinet tone. Good VF. Sextus Nonius, possibly the moneyer's father, in BC 81 inaugurated the Ludi Victoriae Sullanae, in honour of Sulla's victory at the Colline gate. (RSC I, p. 69).
