Anonymous. AR Quadrigatus (Didrachm), uncertain Sicilian mint, 217 BC. Obv. Laureate Janiform head of Dioscuri. Rev. Jupiter in quadriga right, driven by Victory; in relief on a raised tablet, ROMA. Cr. 29/3 (pl. V 3, 4). 6.21 g. 20.00 mm. A choice example, well centred and nicely toned. Minor metal flaw on the reverse. Good VF.
